Traia is an AI-powered personal agent that connects to your email, calendar, and tasks — giving you a single interface to manage your day. I designed the product end-to-end, from initial concept through to the live beta.
The Problem
Knowledge workers switch between 5–8 tools per day. Each switch costs focus. Traia's thesis: one interface, trained on your context, that handles the coordination layer so you can do the actual work.
My Approach
I started with the core interaction model — how does a user hand off a task to an AI agent and trust it to complete? I designed a conversation-first interface with transparent action previews, so users always felt in control.
Outcome
Shipped to a closed beta of 500 users. Early retention metrics show 65% of users return daily. The design system I built powers the entire product and has been adopted by the engineering team for all new features.
